The site uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami collects:

  • Country (based on IP, without storing IP)
  • Device type and browser
  • Anonymous events (clicks on "Download")

NOT Collected

  • IP addresses
  • Personally identifiable data
  • Tracking cookies
  • Cross-site browsing data

No cookies are set. No consent banner is therefore required.

Data Collected by the Application

The Claude Terminal desktop application does not collect or transmit any data. All data (projects, settings, sessions) is stored locally on your machine in the ~/.claude-terminal/ folder.

The application does not make any network calls except:

  • Updates: checking for new versions from the update server
  • GitHub (optional): if you connect your GitHub account via OAuth, tokens are stored locally in Windows Credential Manager

No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to third parties.

Data Hosting

Analytics data (Umami) is hosted on a dedicated server at Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, EU), GDPR-compliant.

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and objection regarding your personal data.
